In curtain industry, raw material (fabric/lining/tracks) shares more than 60% of total price. Making cost shares about 30% and rest is installation and freight. So your project total cost really depends on the price of material you use. Also no matter how expensive or how cheap the material is, the making cost is always the same. Since the labour costing in NZ is already so high, it is wise to choose quality material to make curtains which will last a long time.

Curtain style is based on Single pleat curtains with fullness at 170%. Lifestyle fabric curtain is based on $75/m continuous triple weave fabric or blackout fabric (Unlined). Classic fabric curtain is based on $64/m continuous fabric & blackout lining tagged together (Lined).

TRACKS AND ROD

Curtain Tracks are available in a number of styles and configurations, most Tracks and Rods can be bent or curved to accommodate any window shape. Below shows the most common tracks and rods.
Flat Track: A simplistic track designed purely for functional use, Track is being covered when curtain is closed.
Track Rod: A decorative finish, Track Rods are a feature point and curtain is to hang below.
Wave Track: Specially designed for wave fold curtains. Tracks can be top fix or face fix.
Mini Track: A tiny track which normally fix to window top inside frame to hang nets.
